if you want i3 but on wayland, you could try sway. It is exactly that, you can even reuse most of your i3 config file.
When I used it, I mostly switched between the 9 apps in my favorites/dock with the Meta+digit shortcuts. I rarely used anything besides those 9, and then I just used alt tab. It worked really well, no complaining.
Today it’s mostly the same, but with a tiling window manager and the same numbers: 3 is thunderbird, 5 is file browser for instance. It’s muscle memory at this point, feels great.
Oh. Here in France, even online banks still have web apps.
Anyway the assumption that every user has a smartphone is now very prevalent and it’s going to get harder and harder to not have one, but I really want to go against the trend.
Can’t you set it back to sending you a text with a code to input back? That’s what I’m doing with my bank, my dumbphone is on its way.
Well he’s on his last term, and his political party will not survive him. Who knows how the next presidential elections will go?
The French state is a bad actor already.
I have kept most of my Nintendo systems, but I sold my GameCube and now I regret it.
Games are still playable on my Wii, but I would have modded the GC to load games from a sd card to make it more future proof, as the disk reading part is the most fragile.
I love debian because it’s always there for you.
Interesting. Kept it in my wallabag, if I ever grow tired of sway.
I’d build my own. More seriously, I’d use a mac, but would pester all day, like the few weeks I tried macOS at work before bringing my own computer.
Setting up my weird keyboard layout :
sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
on debianSetting up a keyboard shortcut to launch a terminal with Meta+Return:
Using a tiling window manager:

Don’t sleep on Pikmin 3 mission mode, it’s quite challenging and fun, it’s all about multitasking like a mad man.
I’m playing Pikmin 1 HD (I couldn’t really wait for the physical edition as I had previously stated). I’m having a blast so far, played 6 days and got 10 spaceship pieces.
I remember being terrified of the time constraint in the game (30 days to get 30 pieces) when I first played it 20 years ago, but my experience with Pikmin 3 makes the game really much more manageable and enjoyable now. The Switch version, even if it’s a simple HD port with some very minor tweaks, is really enjoyable.
Looking forward to starting Pikmin 2 HD, probably next week.
They’ll kick you and they’ll beat you and they’ll tell you it’s fair…
Honestly, you don’t need any app. I’m using Firefox on mobile and it’s way better than the app I tried.
Yes I’m waiting for the physical release, as I already have 3 in physical, and wanted to have all 4 in my drawer, for some weird reason.
I might try to finish Pikmin 3 before 1, 2 and 4 hit!
I was not expecting Pikmin 1 and 2 HD ports, but I’ll take them.
I’ll wait for the physical release to have all 4 and show them to my grand kids 25 years from now, for the release of Pikmin 5.
You absolutely can start with 4. The worst thing that can happen is that you love it and are slightly disappointed when you try the first 3 games after 4. It could be worse.
