The Majority Report had an excellent interview with this author Brian Merchant who wrote the book “Blood in the Machine” about the luddites. It is quite interesting that luddites were not against technology, they were against the owner class using machines to replace skilled workers with unskilled workers using mechanized systems for lower pay and taking all the profits.

Well, a beaver dam helps the natural environment by creating water habitats for other creatures. Humans create chemicals that don’t break down forever, plastics that break down over centuries that include microplastics that are now in our bloodstreams and in in whales stomachs. Does any of that human stuff sound like it is natural?

We are nature making non nature things with industry. It took the industrial revolution to push us to where we are with climate change and pollution.

We are never going to live peacefully with nature in a balance. Maybe nature needs to take us over and balance us out by itself.

So do 999 people have to starve for 1 Hamas fighters or could there be a better solution or is the final solution the only viable one for the Palestinians?

~40k Hamas fighters in Gaza can’t hold the other 99.9% non combatants population hostage. This is an excuse to lump all Palestinians in with the Hamas fighters.

Flour was allowed in to feed the people then one of the only remaining bakeries in Gaza was bombed. What is that but an attempt to starve the people of Gaza. Again maybe 1 in 1000 people is Hamas so 999 people have to starve to cut off Hamas?

How about Westbank, where there is no Hamas. Why are they bombing Palestinians in the Westbank if this is all about Hamas and taking them out?

Take precautions and don’t indiscriminately bomb civilian population creating the next generation of people that will fight you.

You know what would keep you from killing civilians?

A ceasefire.

Half of the population is below 19 years old. So they weren’t even born when Hamas was elected.

The average age of Palestinians is 19. The average age of Israelis is 30. That tells you one thing, that you don’t live a long life if your Palestinian.

Funny that pecking order is something you see in chickens. So these human alpha males are copying hen behavior.

the dispute around the sensitive Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which is is sacred to both Muslims and Jews and remains at the emotional heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

These two groups can’t stop fighting because of compounds that are sacred to both. Maybe you can take it away from both of them like children that can’t play nice with their toys, you take the toy away.

Blow this mosque up. Let them rebuild half of the property for Jewish, half for Muslim people or better yet build a community center aimed at joint Muslim Jewish peace.

Ha! I literally never thought of that until I read your comment. I always hoped in the end that it would grow some giant wings but I moved out to work in another city and didn’t have cable so I never saw the end of the show. I guess I could download it and find out.

Unfortunately I have read about the results of parents that give their children homeopathic remedies to cure the flu and heavy metal chelation therapy to cure autism caused by nonexistent thermoseral mercury in MMR vaccines. That result is dead kids or sick kids that still have autism.

It would be hilarious if the non union plant that Trump visited, while certain outlets said he was visiting striking workers, ended up unionizing after they see a good deal being negotiated by UAW.
