I guess the advantage here is that this is a single C file. This means you can run it fairly easily on an old system without a rust-toolchain or go-toolchain available.

Do not force people to do it. It should be based on personal interest.

I am no expert on this matter, I wanted to hear how difficult it is to convict him. As you point out, finding evidence against a suspect in such a case is pretty hard, once he can leave far away.

I think about how things could get worse, how I could prepare. But in the end I conclude the uncertainty is great. Interesting times.
