Yep, I agree. The first two seasons are truly the worst tv Ive ever seen.

Im pretty sure it was the basis for the Xindi arc which I really liked
Season 2 has a few gems but yes its an overall bland season
Picard season 3 was probably the most dramatic improvement in Trek history
I always have skipped the first two seasons of DS9 on rewatches to the point that i dont even remember most of the episodes in these seasons. I guess Ill have to give them another go
I have both books. Very fascinating reads. Unification two parter is one of my favorite Trek two parters btw
Love that they went to some exotic alien structure in space and not just a normal planet
I have ParamountPlus but I’ll just watch it on YouTube anyway as an excuse to watch the episode again
Discovery doesn’t have a single good episode I’ve went back to revisit, while even the “weaker” series like ENT have episodes I revisit.
Love that they went with the original look
Good point. But even as a kid watching DS9 and VOY and TNG, I was aware of the political subtexts. Not sure how anyone can view them apolitically.
I plan to eventually make a youtube series just compiling clips of how Old Trek was indeed “woke”
All Good Things is my favorite Trek episode of all time, next to Yesterdays Enterprise which actually also could have been a great movie :P
Yeah Generations could have just been a decent finale for TNG with All Good Things being the big breakout film, I think that would have worked far better.
Generations is a good movie IMO, I just think it’s weaker than a lot of the OG Trek films personally.
She’s much better than the average Trek reviewer, for sure.
They claim Star Trek has become leftist “dogma” only recently LOL
Well yeah its why it’s very confusing to me
All of them? Okay:
But in reality, All Good Things should have been a Trek film with a higher budget, because that would have been the best of the films by far.
I don’t like the Kelvinverse films either but I guess I like the first one the most, the other two are so dumb it makes my brain hurt.
Exactly. The Vulcans later on (or the Romulan controlled Vulcan govt anyway) in the 22nd century were worried about humanities progress catching up with them, which implies that humans were still behind them technologically by the 2150s
I don’t like this idea because it ties everything to humanity. Why would the Vulcans, who were more advanced than humans, use their inferior technology?
Future Tense, Regeneration, Minefield, Cogenitor and The Expanse were all good
