sure, but that’s not his fault.
sure, but that’s not his fault.
there’s also the fact that dji released its first large form factor commercial lifting drones just a couple of years back. those things are big and bright and fast and typically used in areas where you wouldn’t expect to see drones otherwise. they’ve quickly been getting more and more popular for so many uses. from painting roofs and tall buildings to clearing snow from power lines. they’re starting to show up everywhere.
i bet these alien conspiracy theorists would shit themselves if they saw one of those hauling a crate in the distance. or God forbid, spraying “mysterious” chemicals on our food supply (fertilizer).
if only my professional software supported it…
yeah, there’s a disappointingly small number of effects, and that generally aren’t that crazy.
hmm, feels less significant when the title is just the name of a place or character. or just a common noun. of course they say gladiator at least once in “gladiator” a movie about gladiators.
do they really say “saving private Ryan” in that movie though? it’s been a minute.
i mean, in the video they make it pretty clear that it’s because they were bought out by venture capital and taken public.
i will never get over them fighting with the community about whether the game had multi player when it clearly provably didn’t.
when this game was announced i literally laughed at how badly overpromised it was. that generation of console would never have never been capable of what they wanted. i told all my friends not to buy it because it obviously couldn’t possibly deliver on even half of its claims. they literally just promised everything you could ever want in a space exploration game. the other games that had tried to do that with more resources, more time, and that required better hardware couldn’t even come close to a quarter of what they promised.
they had to know they were over promising. i simply can’t ever trust them after all of that. also, i don’t often like randomly procedurally generated environments in an exploration game. they just get boring fast without someone crafting an exploration experience with goals and points of interest.
shit, the number’s right there. could ask.
yeah, plus there’s only one launcher, and possibly thousands of games.
yeah lol, I’m often plugging in slightly high impedance headphones that it just can’t drive very well. it’s never seemed worth it run run a dac or get a special pair of phone headphones. i rarely use it that way anyway.
but yeah, pretty much every time i plug them in i have to confirm i want to hurt myself before it will allow them to be set to a useable volume.
and yes, i do still have a headphone jack, they are still out there if you’re willing to not get a super expensive phone.
you may not know which one is next, but this one is clearly there.
i didn’t say they were equivalent, i said they’re both blights that remain in the past. terrible things that cause mass civilian casualties for decades after the conflict.
one can still be worse than the other, but anyone that uses them should be punished.
or how about this, both of them are terrible for this. i strongly support Ukraine’s right to defend its borders, but landmines belong in the far distant pass. if Russia drops a bioweapon on kyiev will we follow suit? i sure fucking hope not.
grow a spine and actually believe in something for yourself. landmines are wrong, no matter who uses them or why they are used.
the second anyone was allowed to use houses as an “investment” to gain wealth we basically guaranteed this. obviously anyone with a lot of money tied up in housees is going to try and make their value go up. once we got multinational billion dollar conglomerates involved it became child’s play for them to make that number go up through infinite methods of varrying complexity carried out by thousands of people working together with billions of dollars behind them.
this problem is inherent to a housing market that people are allowed to speculate on. we just need to make that stop entirely. limit house ownership. no one needs 100 houses. especially not companies. if that results in less rental houses than desired, we need to build more apartments. apartments are different beast, but if the cost of houses are lower then it will be harder to inflate rent if they can afford a house instead. this may result in some people who want to rent a house, but not an apartment, unable to find that. that’s not a big problem. they might just need to rent an apartment instead. certainly it’s much less of a problem then the current state of no one being able to afford housing.
the rich don’t need this vector for growing their wealth. they have enough others and are doing quite alright at it. the world will function just fine without mult billion dollar corporations investing in buying properties for the sole reason that they think they can extract wealth without contributing anything. houses should be for living in, not for extracting wealth.
to me it’s kind of kind the nazi bar thing. if you’re at a bar with 2 Nazis, and you’re not a nazi, you’re still hanging out at a nazi bar.
they fucking adore this frog. no other group has embraced it as strongly or consistently. I’m quite happy to let an old ass meme die because i find it distasteful now that it’s the favorite meme of nazis.
yeah this is a mfw format. mfw my mom is watching something Lowkey interesting and i have to pretend I’m not watching.
I interpreted this as implying that the bits of food hiding in the water are small or pulverized.
I understand stew to just be less watery. barely enough liquid to cover the chunks.
you could repurpose this headline to literally any creative or journalistic industry these days. “x industry is being propped up by underpaid freelancers” is just a fact of life now. it’s just so much cheaper when you don’t owe them any benefits or dignity or anything at all in fact.
i mean, this is also a handled. if we look at the way they name their handhelds then switch 2 may not be it, but switch extra or switch (new feature here) would be very in line with their names. Nintendo ds, ds lite, 3ds, others? Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, Gameboy advance sp - particularly egregious.
