  • Yeah, Paul was bouncing around like an idiot. Tyson didn’t have his legs and kept fucking around with his mouthpiece.

The whole fight looked like a kid who took a couple boxing lessons at the local fight gym challenged someone’s grandpa who used to fight.

  • I think you attribute more intent to his actions than he deserves. He “loves” coal, oil, and gas because that’s what his base wants to hear. Defunding the EPA has nothing to do with his pro or anti-climate goals. It has everything to do with the fact that the EPA is a regulatory body that increases costs for industry. Fewer road blocks, better cash flow.

It’s not that he loves or hates any of these things… it’s all in your last sentence. The rest is just a means to an end. He just doesn’t care beyond the fact that it might keep him from him getting what he wants

  • One of my little guys had to go through that back in August. What’s amazing is that he had to eat wet food for several days, and he and my other cat absolutely don’t like wet food. Even when they were kittens, I tried getting them some nice refrigerated wet food as a treat a few times… barely touched.

I was astonished when my vet told me that once he healed he could go back to dry food. Cats apparently hardly chew their food at all. Vinnie didn’t need all his teeth out, but he had like 8 or 9 removed, and the vet said even if all his teeth had been removed he’d be able to eat dry food.

After the surgery we started calling him gummy nubbins.

Yeah… don’t pay any attention to this kind of nonsense. Cats are obligated to carnivores. They don’t have the machinery to process a lot of non-meat foods. If they occasionally get into some things, it shouldn’t cause a problem.

Ultimately, just listen to your vet.

So far as the milk and cats thing… I think the issue is that they love it, they’ll almost always go for it, but many if not most are lactose intolerant… so too much will cause issues. If you had a cat who could process it, then great!

  • I just missed this gen entirely, and with the exception of the Switch’s successor, I don’t think I’m going to be buying another console for a very long time.

I used to be a dedicated console gamer… I had an NES growing up, then a Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast. Picked up a Game Cube somewhere along the way. Then I had the Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, WiiU, and finally the XBOne and Switch. I’ve had PCs mixed in there from time to time, but most gaming was done in the living room on console.

Then the Series X/S and PS5 come around… there were the massive supply issues, and everything was moving to 4K and I didn’t have 4K, and none of it seemed worth the upgrade. At this point my laptop was a dinosaur from 2011 and needed to be replaced anyway. So I built a desktop PC, which gets gamed on alongside my Switch, and my XBOne has been gathering dust.
