San Francisco Supervisor Matt Dorsey is calling on several city agencies to weigh in on his proposal to tackle drug use through arrests and mandatory treatment. Dorsey, who represents parts of downtown, says more than 200 people loiter and use drugs along a quarter-mile stretch of Sixth Street every night.
Jesus Christ, never thought I’d agree with Trump on something but SF has turned into a shithole. Drugs users are not criminals. Most are in desperate need of mental health services and stability in their life. This guy doesn’t want to help anyone, sounds like he wants to financially support the jail system and buddies that own treatment centers.
