The taxpayer paid for this software and now Elon Musk stole it from them.

I personally use FreeTaxUSA which is part of the aforementioned FFA.

Or, that is the clear pathway we are on if the people are not working on stopping it. I haven’t been doing nearly enough.
From what i understand, they’re trying to stop the IRS providing it’s own freefile service.
It’s not difficult to file your taxes on paper.
I think it is. It’s outdated and unnecessary complicated.
It’s why I use cash app taxes (formally known as credit karma taxes)
Especially since the IRS knows how much you owe…
It’s unnecessarily cumbersome to do so in an era where all other financial transactions are done electronically.
