Fetlife sucks because of its lack of filtering. I don’t want to find someone who is in to similar kinks on the other side of the country/world. If they’d actually add ASL filtering to profiles it’d go a very long way.
The ONLY good section on fet for hookups is the classifieds, they are broken down by areas and cities, there are also “munches” or whatever they are calling them now, for meeting like minded individuals, also broken down by area and city
