People are recently posting picture posts and I think it’s time we revisit our community rules just in case this is not what people want.
Would you change the rules for the c/asklemmynsfw community in any way and if so how?
Discuss and vote on potential changes.

I’m thinking of adding a no pictures rule and a rule against upvoting content that goes against the rules. This would penalize all people who are upvoting that content in the future.
I agree on the no pics rule but penalizing for upvoting won’t work like you would expect. Many people browsing their feed won’t pay attention to the community the post is in and just vote based on what they see. And even if they notice the community, you can’t expect everyone to know/remember the rules of every community.

Define “spamming.”
Some people think a creator having an OF account at all means anything they post is immediately “spam,” and I completely disagree.
Hate to bring up Reddit but I used to help mod Normal Nudes and we allowed the PEOPLE with only fans to post but only using an alt account not linked to their advertising account. It’s not a ban on the people who sell, it’s a ban on using that sub to advertise.
I think something like that would work, but if there are no pictures and no AMA it doesn’t seem necessary here, or not yet anyway. Getting the voices of sex workers seems valuable in a discussion thread.
Forcing creators to make alternate accounts just so incels don’t feel the sting of finding out someone they’re attracted to needs to pay their rent is ridiculous.
There were two rules born of experience, it was a busy thread:
No selling because otherwise it turned into an advertising board, and no erection in your main picture, because otherwise it turned into nothing but dick pics.
It’s not as busy here, I don’t think it matters, but amateur spaces are valuable.
