People are recently posting picture posts and I think it’s time we revisit our community rules just in case this is not what people want.
Would you change the rules for the c/asklemmynsfw community in any way and if so how?
Discuss and vote on potential changes.

I agree with @Biapathy@lemmynsfw.com
While your pictures illustrates your description, it does not add any real value as anyone could understand your intention and also just google it to find the same thing.
There is a real value for a text only nsfw community, it promotes discussion.
The community rules say no pictures and I will always abide by the set community rules.
I cannot argue with your reasoning of possible better discussion without pictures.
My motivation was purely how to grow the group. Many go through the general feed on Lemmy. And I figured a relevant picture to a question was more likely to catch attention and increase participation and subscribers.
Unless you and the other mods decide to actually change the rules I will no longer make any posts that feature a picture.
I hate people who are new arrivals (me as a mod) who try to impose their opinions on the others who started and built the group. So I will abide by any decision that is made.
That’s exactly why it’s problematic and exactly why I called out both you and Simone though. You deliberately included the photo solely for the reason of increasing engagement and not because it was something that your post needed. Allowing this behavior is only going to lead to extremely low quality posts.
I get that sometimes you need a photo to point to to say “this is what I’m talking about” and that’s why photos are allowed in descriptions and comments. I don’t necessarily agree with your posting philosophy but I do at least understand why you do what you do.
We are in agreement
