you’re gonna lose it when you find out that most of the world eats bugs with no issues
that’s not how our justice system tends to work unfortunately. if the shooter is caught, they will end up in prison, no doubt about it.
plus, from a purely socialogical standpoint, having a nameless person with an unknown story allows people to put whatever story they want on them, which makes them a way more compelling figure cause they can appeal to pretty much everyone
userbenchmark should not be trusted.
messy asf, a proper hobbiest system
mostly runs jellyfin for a group of about 30 users (2 or 3 on at most times). runs alpine on bare bones. the box was originally filled with foam cutouts from storing iPads in a school district I worked at. I figure it’s 20tbs of storage and 16gb ecc is a welcome upgrade. it stays cool cause I cutout half the side and put an AC fan in there. future upgrades involve the Nvidia k40 card I have, but I need to design an active cooling system for it before it can be installed as that thing gets HOT
“your face, my fist”
I’m in the same boat. I was a kde neon person for a very long time, but I eventually got tired of some weird issues I was having that I couldn’t find a fix for. tried fedora on a bit of a whim and everything just worked. Nvidia drivers were a breeze to set up, gnome is very nice out of the box and doesn’t take the configuring I’m used to on kde, and even just having gnome boxes pre installed is super useful and I get to skip the virtualboxes setup. very impressed with it overall. never going back
damn. that’s one hell of a family relic. sorry for your losses and I hope there’s a long time before you have to see it again.
well then they couldn’t sue people and that seems to be a large portion of what Nintendo does
please don’t give them ideas
can you actually shut the fuck up right now. women and minorities have there lives on the line and all y’all can talk about is this. if kamala wins we can protest her stance. if trump wins and we protest his stance he’s already said he’ll deploy the national guard. y’all are so smug about ruining your chances of helping these people
it meant to be yes. unfortunately having more stuff baked in can lead to more issues than good on some systems. kde neon is meant to be kubuntu with more stuff baked in but ime it causes more issues than good.
I totally get it. in terms of ease of use and setup, if you ever do give it another go, try fedora. I had similar gaming issues with multiple Linux distros, gave fedora a go, and everything worked pretty much right out of the box, I was super impressed. ymmv ofc but keep it in mind for the future!
beautiful post, thank you!! I’ve been using the same traveling USB for ages at this point and will probably upgrade soon, this research is super useful
mine in PA. most of them are sent to a name I don’t know anyone by…
for me it was logging into the router webpage, getting my parents mac and ip addresses, and cloning them after they turned off their devices and my Internet for the night lol
idk how weird this is in terms of everything else in this thread, but peanut butter and pickles on toast is great
only time I ever bought gift cards was when I worked at restaurant. each Christmas theyd give us employees 20% off gift cards. id buy a bunch of them (usually like 500$ worth). then when a customer paid in cash, I’d pay with my gift card, and pocket the change. I always told the customer what I was doing and made sure it was ok with them, it was a chain so most people were just kinda thrilled they could help me beat the system.
maybe a tree or branch falling on it?
