If you are located at the same latitude, you will see the same stars but at different times (like time zones). But if the separation has a north-south component, you will be able to see different stars from each other, because the stars hidden over the horizon to the north and south won’t rotate into view because the rotation is east-west.

Sundogs are caused by ice crystals.

I’m guessing this is due to the steam coming out the vent rather than a fine layer of ice crystals across the entire sky. The sundog is only visible with that particular geometry of the sun and the vent, right?

Under Christianity, I think children were instructed to hold their hands together in order to discourage fidgeting. I’m not aware of any Biblical reason to clasp hands. In fact, I think in the Old Testament hands were often raised in prayer.

But apparently not in periods…
