The last time I was job searching, Comcast recruited me for a job. It was for way more than I was expecting but I told them that I was not going to work for them. They tried to push and ask me why and I should go through the interview process to see if I like it.

I was very frank with them. Their stance on net neutrality alone was enough for me to decline. The recruiter was surprisingly understanding and wished me luck.

I think it was Some More News that was talking about this trend of using young, frustrated men and grooming them towards authoritarianism.

The researcher they had on was talking about how this is how every fascist party got into power. The good news is that it’s often not enough to keep them in power.

I’ve started making my own bread and pizza dough. It’s also practice. The more you do it, the faster it takes. You think of ways to make it easier next time.

Having an attorney present bumps it up to “being fucked by court duty is worse than doing some paperwork”. Likely nothing they can do but having the paper trail of a stalking report will help YOU should the stalker escalate.

You can have a work profile as well as a private space account. I think the latter is a relatively new feature. Really useful if you want your dating apps or NSFW apps not tied to your personal account.

The only drawback is that the private space cannot use background services so you can’t get notifications of hot MILFs in your area.

I’ve reached the point of absolutely hating rechargable batteries. Between their ghost discharge, and the fact that I don’t go through as many batteries like I used, using normal alkaline batteries seems to be the best for me anyway.

I think it’s important to note the difference between “make a living to keep things going” vs. “I want to make ‘fuck you’ money.”

I have no problem with people who make a good product and seek donations or sell their product at a reasonable price.

Hell, take uBlock Origin. I’d easily pay $10 / month for this but they do not want money. So I do what they request and donate to the people who make the filters.

This is the first year in perhaps a decade I won’t be giving to the Mozilla Foundation because they are enshittifying their product. I wrote to them and told them why I won’t be donating. I don’t know if it will make a difference but I’m keeping an eye on them over the next year.
