One would hope for a more broad institutional change like schools or workplaces not renewing contracts, but individual action matters too. Closest schools ever got in the US was with Chromebooks, and at least a few places in the EU are ditching MS for better options.

Yeah, even more casual games like Balatro are proof of that, despite how easily you can port a game of that nature otherwise, people will choose to use proton because it’s still able to sync with their progress and symlinking is too inconvenient to consider unless you’re running like 2gb ram or something.
Using those kinds of glasses would be a great way to expose a narcissist in real time; I’ve personally done certain things in my own home as a child to prove someone else’s guilt, and this kind of stuff would’ve made it simpler. Ethical use solves problems instead of creating new ones.
