  • I don’t know if you meant for it to come off this way or not, but to me it reads like you’re saying people who own homes shouldn’t complain about small things. Someone else always has it worse. That doesn’t mean those who are better off have no right to complain about things that annoy them (especially on the community made for complaining about mildly infuriating things).

    “Holy crap”, “God damnit”, 'Dear god", “What the hell”, these are all things I say regularly despite not believing in any holy things, gods, or hells. It’s simply a part of my vocabulary, which tends to happen when you grow up in a country surrounded by people that actually do believe in those things.

    Nobody likes voting for the lesser of two evils, but we all have to if we want to stop an even further decline into hell. Our system is broken, and we don’t have any way of fixing it immediately, so we have to work with what we can. Trump as president will have immediate and direct consequences for many people, and it will be the fault of people like you that it happened. At this point, not voting for Biden is the same thing as voting for Trump. You may continue virtue signaling after we get through the crisis right in front of us.
