overall EV registrations in Europe have remained stable as competing automakers gain ground.
Which competing car manufacturers are they so I can invest?

Wouldn’t you say its…hypocritical?
I heard the young 'uns call it “boomer comic”.
The child is having a fever. It’s not good to vaccinate a sick person.
Predictably, people are arguing if violence can be an answer. But the best rule of thumb is “speak softly, but carry a big stick”. If peaceful demonstration and diplomacy ran its course, then violence is the only path forward. I mean, the abolition of slavery in the United States could never be done by peaceful means (unlike what UK had done) so war was the only way.
I do something similar but yours is more comprehensive and elaborate.
Thank you for your response.
Capitalism also exploits the inherent nature of humans to please and feel validated by others through work. However, the system initially stems from the idea that individuality is sovereign and the cornerstone of successful being and society as a whole. However, no one notices or questions this paradox. Capitalism promotes individualism, and yet if you are not immersed in the grind, hustle and productivity culture, you are deemed lazy and unproductive by society. In other words, even in a system that touts individuality, the worth of someone is still tied to impressing society at large. At the end of the day, you’re not pleasing yourself or your colleagues, you are pleasing those at the top who are earning more than you ever will.
I don’t know much about Indian laws and work culture, but many Indians I spoke to mentioned the work culture in their country is highly toxic. They prefer to work in American and Western companies instead of Indian-grown ones.
With exceptions of few countries, I believe the modern society is closer to the novel Brave New World than 1984 story. People have been convinced to accept control by way of pleasure. To forget the mundane and realities of life in exchange for gratification by constant triggering of our own biochemistry that induces the feeling of pleasure. We are encouraged buy the things we don’t need to impress the people we don’t like, so that consumer spending will keep the all-mighty economy kept being fed. But if we complain that we don’t have enough left for essentials, then we are told it’s because we keep buying iPhone or avocado toast. The media will say that the economy is slowing down because of less consumer spending, but then chastise us for doing the exact same thing we are told to do: spend and spend.
I don’t condone the murder of the CEO of a healthcare insurance company who reject 32% of claims…
But I understand.
I also pretty much stopped watching TV as well. Online has more varied news sources.
Goes to show how much the media controls our knowledge on current affairs.
Not necessarily. It just means you aren’t active enough to go out of your own information bubble. Plenty of news sources would mention many things.

It was brought up in the movie, “Lincoln”, that the “Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection” by Charles Darwin was already published at the height of the US Civil War. Somehow, I disassociate the two events as being on completely different time period.
Trump is very unpredictable on Ukraine. He said he will support Ukraine but who knows. But some say he will withdraw support from Taiwan, which is unlikely because he never had good relations with Xi and China. As for Israel-Palestine, we know where stands on that.
For me as non-American, I am more concerned with geopolitics. I wish Trump would provide support to Ukraine. But if he doesn’t, at least he will stand against China. I understand many Americans are tired of over twenty years of hawkish foreign policies with corporate and imperialist agenda, but if Trump withdraws from Europe, at least he should pivot towards China. It balances out between complete isolationism and imperialism (I believe on a case by case basis of interventionism as part of just war theory, like the US entry into World War 2 and intervention on Yougoslavia).
Of course there is more tit for tat deal, but North Korea will not send troops to combat if they think they will not gain anything from it militarily.
See, this is why I don’t mind George Soros, a billionaire, is funding left wing causes. Too much of the rich class is disproportionately funding the right. Fight fire with fire.
