All these handhelds have decent AMD hardware, I would bet money that absolutely any new steamOS handheld will have similar or more powerful hardware than the OG deck. This new Lenovo device specifically is more powerful than the OG deck as well.
And with steamOS being Linux, a free and open source system, hardware fragmentation wont really be a thing. With Android hardware fragmentation was bad because many devices would never get updated after a year or so, but this is true Linux and valve is a consumer friendly company so I don’t really know what you mean talking about hardware fragmentation.
This is great for valve, and great for gamers. There is no down side to this.

You’re right, but also there are still a ton of people that pretend or think they have some type of mental condition when in actuality they don’t.
I have diagnosed OCD (by a medical professional) and I’ve only ever told about two friends in my entire life because the millions of gross people around the world that say they have OCD for the most normal fucking things that everyone In the world can relate to.
Somebody saying they have OCD is so fucking cringe to me now because of these morons that I’m scared to tell anyone even if I’m close to them.

I wanted to go with a pi for my HTPC but I have a Plex server and all my movies are full bitrate 4k files straight from the UHD blurays and the pi couldn’t handle that bitrate. Ended up building a small ITX PC with my old PC hardware and a new Intel A380 gpu.
I’m so thankful intel is doing their best to enter the discreet GPU market. Such banger cards for so little.
