Biological sex != gender. There’s not even 2 classes of biological sex. There are men born with biological female organs and women born with biologically men’s organs. We all as humans do share common organs, one of which happens to be the nipple.

Regardless of what your actual biological sex is a gender is simply a social construct used to identify someone. A person who is “non-binary” feels that their gender does not conform to what you would typically expect of either male or female based on appearances or behavior.

There’s a huge hate bandwagon for Manjaro and I don’t really understand it. I don’t consider myself a linux expert and maybe that’s why but I felt like Manjaro was very accessible to someone new to Linux who wanted to use Arch. You have the ability to install what you need while also having a relatively stable system. I enjoyed that it came with software that I would normally be using but I know there’s a lot of diehards who want just Linux and to install things themselves, in that case they should just use plain Arch or Endeavor, but I think for others Manjaro is perfectly fine.

Yeah. This was my first time opening the phone but I watched the ifixit teardown video almost religiously trying to catch every detail. Unfortunately despite it warning you about pick depth, it doesnt warn you about going inbetween the screen and glue. Hopefully since Google has gone this far in the repairability department, they make future pixels a bit easier to teardown without accidentally breaking it

Haha yup, if only. Also the battery was glued to the frame with probably the strongest glue I’ve ever seen. Even after heating the back case to too hot to touch temps it was still incredibly difficult to remove the battery. I don’t think there’s a good reason to glue the battery like that where I’m sure some thermal padding would probably suffice to keep it in place, or shit even clips.

I wouldn’t say a mustang GT is any faster. Most EV’s have a sub 5 second 0-60, which is what a Musang GT has. EVs are just incredibly fast, especially Teslas.

Well I mostly got the phone for the color. I love the bay blue color so a case would just cover it up. It looks like based on the official google repair doc and the ifixit video that I’ll have to disassemble the entire phone. I ordered the back glass and all the adhesives I’ll need to replace (so so much glue!) from ifixit. Like you said I’ll have to go slow, just hoping I don’t break something in the process. My biggest worry is the screen since there’s some ribbon cables very close to where you have to use the pry tools. Even a youtuber broke their screen opening it first try.

If consumers didnt think it was a fair price, then they wouldn’t buy it. People can live without a videogame, it’s not like this is a big pharma company raising prices on a life-saving drug.

Yeah that’s basically what I’m doing now but using xorg instead of wayland. So I cant use stuff like gamescope and the steam big picture is horribly laggy for whatever reason with nvidia cards.

Next GPU upgrade I’ll go team red but until then I’m stuck with the nvidia card.

Will that make it more usable for nvidia users? I hope to someday try SteamOS with nvidia but I think most of the wayland issues are what’s preventing that.
