This isn’t my experience at all. Mastodon feels more or less exactly like Twitter-circa 2022 to me (just with fewer right-wing trolls) - still fun and vibrant and also informative.

Lemmy feels like a collection of weird freaks trying desperately to be cool. And don’t get me wrong, I’m one of them. But I would not call the vibe here “vibrant, active, lighthearted, fun” or certainly “powerful.”

Given his prognosis, suicide seems like a perfectly reasonable way out. Unlike Epstein, I don’t doubt this for a second.

I don’t think I’ll be crying over this; between his support of MAGA Republicans and his increasingly cringe on screen antics, I’d been losing interest in him remaining host for a while.

I am! I go through phases of playing it, and at the moment all of my attention is elsewhere (namely, TotK on Switch) - but, once I’m done with that I expect that I’ll go back to my ridiculous backlog, and Apex Legends.
