How do you block them? I keep pressing “show fewer shorts” but they keep popping up and I can’t find an option to block them entirely.
When I see reviews like this, I assume they’ve just played the game too much. Nothing stays fun after 30k hours, go and do something else!
These started popping up just after I started seeing a bunch of moths in my house. How did they get in my phone?!
This isn’t entirely true - someone calculated that, on a good year, a peasant could only work 150 days a year towards the rent of their own farmland. Then they have to actually work that land, take care of their animals, and manually do basically every industrial process we take for granted to get food in their belly. They didn’t work 150 days a year then go off with a cheque that will sort them out for the rest of the year.
Or, pretending that the food is delicious, then opening a restaurant and immediately getting shut down because people keep finding bits of glass and nails in their food.
Talk about issues that affect the working class. Not the white working class, not working class men, just everyone who makes a living by drawing a wage. Progressive movements are formed by solidarity, and we have more in common with other working class people than any of the politicians or business leaders who set the tone of this debate.
Gold is useful! It’s unreactive and conducts electricity really well. Plus you can drink vodka with bits of it in.
On a more positive note, no more Essex
I’ve seen a few of these now. Here’s a screen cap of one telling us how Iran is going to kill us all:
You can do it! My advice is to take it one day at a time and remember that nicotine cravings go away after about 10 minutes.
Tell me about it! I had to accept that part of quitting involved forever missing something, but knowing I’m better off without it.
I have one friend who got divorced. It was difficult for him since it was during COVID and their 2-year-old daughter was involved, but now he’s thriving and super well-adjusted. I think some people just refuse to come to terms with things beyond their control (namely the people in the pic).
What’s the context for this? I’ve been out of the loop with this story.
I wish my government kept companies in check a bit more than they do. I live in the UK where all the water companies are owned by hedge funds and they keep discharging raw sewage into all our waterways. I feel we could do well to take back some control from them.
I wish the UK would do the same. At least in the US they learn a bit about slavery - here in the UK we learn nothing about the British Empire and its atrocities. No wonder we have statues of slave traders everywhere.
Exactly - what I’m trying to say is that if I was dying and I decided that even though I’d never particularly been into, say, Enya before but that now I really, really was into Enya and that in fact, I thought Enya was great and that Enya died for our sins and I wanted an Enya themed funeral with pictures of Enya and lots and lots of mentions of Enya, then I think it would be a bit bloody rich for my sister to ban all mention of Enya from my funeral. Yeah?
Pretty cool that Macron and Zelenskyy get to see the new pre-release hats. Perks like this are why they became world leaders.
