Ya. That’s the point. They don’t want you consuming their server CPU cycles unless you are paying for it via youtube premium, or advertisers are paying for it.

I paid $12 to watch oppenheimer and that was 3 hours. I watch way more than 3 hours of youtube every week. Easily worth paying for premium.

  • Yea me too. The difference is that I mostly criticize the children here for being irrational. I don’t care if someone finds out my actual identity.

But if I was a white supremacist posting racist content on twitter, this would be a deterrent.

This is actually Elon bending to his overloads - advertisers. He won’t admit defeat. But he will make all the nazis out themselves.

Good. Bring the same system here. Because there’s a lot of people on the left who also think it is OK to be openly racist.

  • There’s no “it”. The amount of businesses that can technically function using remote workers is a MINORITY of total businesses. Retail workers can’t work remotely. Surgeons can’t work remotely. Farmers can’t work remotely. Restaurant staff can’t work remotely. Students should NOT learn remotely. My company can’t manufacture things remotely. AKA the jobs that make the world go 'round.

Yea, accountants, bankers, wall st, programmers, etc can work remote. But their bosses don’t want them to, and now they are fighting. They are not the majority. The thing these people have in common is MONEY and a cushy lifestyle. That’s being disturbed, so now you have to hear about it. The money controls the media.

I’m an IT Director. We have AT&T at work. Mobile hot spot is “included” with every line we have. Unlimited data for the phone, up to 40GB for tethering.

I personally have Google Fi. I can also tether at no extra charge.

OP lacks the emotional intelligence to actually have a real discussion about this issue. Tethering is not a “right”. No one’s rights are being violated. It’s a ridiculous claim. It’s even more ridiculous that 1000+ people read that shit and upvoted.

You have the right to have your basic needs met: shelter, food, water, safety, and a life free from discrimination, torture, etc.

Tethering your smartphone is not a fucking right. It is a service you purchase.

  • Because if I don’t then all these rich fucks pave over everything, flood their neighbor’s land, block traffic, poison their customers, and sell houses that’ll collapse 10 minutes after The warranty expires.

That already happened and continues to happen. Because corporations bribe the government to allow it. They call it lobbying. And you know this. The feigned ignorance is comical. Why do ISPs own the rights to public telephone poles and prevent municipal internet? Because people like you gave the ISPs those rights.

  • Software is the single reason I have been using a Pixel phone since they launched.

Most of your complaints are subjective nonsense and I don’t care to argue or refute them. Because you’re most likely an apple fanboi who is lying.

Need a custom launcher coz the official one forces google calender to cover a whole line in your homescreen, and google search takes up a whole line on EVERY PAGE ON YOUR APPS HOME

Oh my god. Are you going to be OK? How will you survive this tragedy?

Ya I don’t care. These are minor issues.

Pixel call screening is a life changing feature. I have not receive or spoken to a spam caller in over 3 years. This feature alone will keep me using Pixel.

The people working at those corporations would have been murdered. You want people to commit suicide. That’s really the argument being made in this comment thread: people should commit suicide instead of taking immoral action.

If someone puts a gun to my head and makes me choose between my life and your life, I’m choosing my life.
