I’ve always felt like people were overblowing the pocket lint thing, since I’ve never had it happen to me. Just realized that it’s because my pockets are too small, so the only pocket I can use is my back pocket with the port sticking out.

My first job I spent 3 years working on a variety of projects that never shipped. It was frustrating at the time, but the experience was good for me. Now I have fun writing code and working with my teammates and if my code doesn’t ship, well it’s not as bad as not having anything ship for 3 years.
They are running a 2004 week, looking back at tech from that era.
I was just reading about the Red Bull case the other day. It seems like they settled in order to make the stories all about how they ‘lost’ the ‘red bull gives you wings’ case, which sound like a stupid lawsuit, rather than go to court and have the media write about how Red Bull doesn’t do anything that a cup of coffee won’t do. They even still use the ‘gives you wings’ slogan.
The poorly designed feature itself isn’t about showing ads, it’s just showing the top item of the news feed. The news feed can have ads, depending on what the developer publishes to it, which is why I never scroll down to that section.
This was a survey. They weren’t gathering data without consent.
The thing that got me was the lighting. I’ve been camping and you just can’t get a good photo of your tent fire. Not as well lit as this at least.
Men can generally do more power moves than women because of a difference in upper body strength. This makes it tough to have mixed gender head-to-head competitions. B-girls using power moves at all is a rather recent development to the scene.
B-boy and B-girl is the term breakers like, so I would expect them to fight hard against changing that.
DJI and an independent source both told us
That part of the article is talking about multiplayer. A lot of games use the cloud for multiplayer.
It doesn’t mention requiring cloud for single player.
Yeah, I didn’t have a problem reading it. The most awkward part was the weird comparison to Big Ben. The wrong “there” was the first thing to make me pause and then I saw the joke.
They did change one thing. You used to be able to get electricity at wholesale prices from certain providers. When the rates went crazy during the 2021 storm and people’s crazy bills for turning on the lamp blew up on the news, they shut down that option.
These rate surges do hurt customers, but now it’s in the form of rate increases when their contract expires.
If I were launching an air raid on a flat earth, I’d have the planes fly over the edge and under the earth. They wouldn’t be able to see you coming.
The feature is usually called Mic Monitoring. It’s pretty common on gaming focused headsets.
It’s more like like a seasoned veteran, not cooking seasoning.
You aren’t throwing garlic on the pan and then putting it in the cupboard. You build up layers of polymerized oil on the pan as you cook on it.
I don’t think you’ll find a color laser printer that size. They use pretty large drums to hold the toner. It’d be hard to even find a mono laser printer in that size.
The apostrophe is also used for possession. For example, the DoJ’s lawsuit against Apple was filed Thursday morning or Adrian’s baseball went missing. It’s only backwards for its.
It’s not mentioned in the filing, so we can only speculate.
…on March 18, 2024, Nokia Technologies sent us a letter indicating they believed that Reddit infringes certain of their patents. We will evaluate their claims.
That’s all we’ve got to go on.
Seems a few people have gotten that confused. Article spent too much time rehashing the change in 15.0 before getting to 15.1 and felt like a typical ragebait article.
Still seems a little ragebaity, they don’t really have a lot of proof that Apple has intentionally disabled running unsigned apps. Their argument is that Apple changed the process for running in 15.0 and an app won’t start in 15.1, therefore the end of the era of sideloading. Personally, I would’ve liked more details on that part and less on history of 15.0.
