Absolutely. That’s what I was talking about. We keep on monitoring covid like the flu-variants, but we don’t change our lives for covid any more than we do for the common flu.

Also, reprinting the recipe every year.
I don’t know about the US, but here in Germany covid is just part of life now, like the flu. My neighbor is an intensive care nurse and she says there are no covid patients anymore or if there are, they’re on the same level as influenca.
Years ago I heard this story about a company in India that held a fire drill. Once everybody was gathered outside, they made the announcement that for about a third of them their key cards wouldn’t work anymore because they were fired. My colleagues from India at the time said that sounded very real.
But Elon said CEOs are the most important people because they create the value.
Is there maybe a generational gap? I am older and I very, very rarely watch videos. Maybe when I am totally stuck in a game will I watch a walkthrough. But just watching other people play is something my kids and their friends do. I think games just caught up to sports, where most fans spend more time watching than playing as well.
I am sure Microsoft will take this to heart and stop the bloat shit and not kill off Windows 10 for good.
Yes, but there’s also people actually not doing anything. I am dev lead and after building a team, which was a lot of work, I am at a point where I am doing fuck all on most days. Maybe join a few meetings, make some decisions and work on my own stuff otherwise.
No idea. Too many to pick from.
I am using Let’s Encrypt. Cloudflare is used for DNS validation.
It is that easy, like you said. And with Cloudflare and Caddy you can get TLS for your internal VPN hosts. I love that.
Russian Circles for the former, Frodus for the latter.
My Vaultwarden is behind a private VPN, but I’ll still update today. Thanks.
Double taxation treaties are very common. What I’ve been told by US coworkers makes the US stand out is that you still need to file your taxes with the IRS, even when living abroad. No idea if that’s actually the case.
I have lived outside my native country for a while and only had to file taxes in my country of residence (neither of which is the US), because there’s a DTAA in place between the two.
Paying billionaires to watch millionaires play games.
I got bored and read up the plot and decided that I’m good and then picked up another game.
Line must always go up.
It’s not cynical. I have three of them and that’s just the truth. Sometimes they enjoy being annoying. It’s all normal and good… but it’s still annoying.
I enjoyed every Dragon-age game so far and Veilguard is no exception. I think the writing is fine. Not great, but good enough. I can see why some people would complain, because it’s definitely watered down compared to DA:O. But I am still having fun almost 60 hours into the game.
