There are probably farms of humans on other planets, because deep down we’re not very different in physical matter from pigs.
On the other hand, we take a very long time to gestate and mature by comparison. We’d have to be some kind of delicacy or specialty item.

Worm food.
Tomato. My mum once said she’s surprised my skin hasn’t turned red yet with how much tomatoes I eat.
Potato gnocchi in a butter sauce, maybe some lightly steamed veg and fresh baked bread on the side. And a really good cup of minestrone.
So if your food is once sentient people, is it better for your food to want to be eaten, or to hate being eaten?
