The best thing to do is sign up on a smaller Lemmy instance such as lemm.ee (that’s where I’m posting from). lemmy.world is completely overrun by new users right now, and it’s doing its best to keep up, but having a bad time with performance. This results in posts not loading, duplicate comments, and random errors. You’ll have a better Lemmy experience heeding my advice, go beans!

Lemm.ee isn’t great because it’s a bit smaller (it’s still pretty big), it’s great because the admin/dev is top notch.
I mean, the devs here aren’t bad either (or so I’d assume).
