Fortunately the gentleman at the front desk allowed me to switch rooms. For $200 a night, I’d like to not hit my head on the wall when standing up.
This post itself is mildly infuriating as I can’t tell what’s wrong in the picture!

Yeah, so there isn’t any need to fling one’s entire self forward when standing from a poop so I don’t see this as a problem unless OP is a giraffe or just really bad at standing up…
