      Weird, that seems to unusual based on people’s responses here and my quick Google.

      I think it’s still solvable, in addition to the docks, there must be a cable or adapter that is causing the issue.

          I can’t answer that, despite that, there is a resolution. What model / year Mac is it?

                i used a apple hdmi/usb adapter, a belkin hdmi adapter , a belkin dock, a lenovo dock, a dell dock, a no brand one:same thing with all of them

                  What happens when you check that “Show All Resolutions” checkbox?

                  Otherwise is there a “Default for Display” option?

                    default is next to 1080p, if i click show all resolution i get the (low resolution) version of the ones i already have, no new Hz options
