More short sighted corporate greed. It’s a great period to try and pull in Twitter users but instead let’s add ads for a short term bump in profits.

I went to a similar looking middle school, but each grade was in one giant room probably the size of a gym. No class had an actual wall unless it was on the edge. Probably 10-11 classes in each big room for the grade. The only dividers between classes were like rolling bulletin boards and maybe a metal cabinet or two. I couldn’t imagine having to teach in those conditions because it always was pretty noisy.
I also remember the school’s gym had a full locker room with showers but students weren’t allowed to use the showers and none of the bathrooms in the school had stall doors. And the stalls were those short ones were your head was higher than the top of the wall. It was super weird.
I feel that almost certainly that is where Musk got the idea from, it worked for them, etc!
Not to be a downer but what is Ukraine’s casualties at? I’m sure this rate of loss of Russian young men is going to kneecap population levels there but I can only imagine how screwed Ukraine’s will be as well.
I’ve heard a saying, two things you should never do on the Internet are argue or explain. It takes up a lot of mental energy and time to do it for no reward.
That’s a diet that’s avoiding nightshades not a vegan diet. Some people think nightshades can trigger inflammation or autoimmune diseases but there really isn’t any evidence about it. Some people with irritable bowel disease fine nightshades trigger flare ups but that’s about all I’ve heard of.
Seems like the cops should now be worried about civilian phones exploding and now might consider shooting anyone that tries to hand them a phone /s
It’s NC, so it’s bottom of the barrel what is legally required minimum wage. 7.25
And yet a local Domino’s Pizza around here is still offering the same $12 an hour rate and advertising a manager salary of $25k a year! Corporations never learn and people wonder why customer service is so crappy.
Biden should at least go full Office Space and move all of their desks to the basement of the Supreme Court building. Maybe pass an executive order where the justices all have to ride to work together on a special Supreme Court short bus. I’m fine if he keeps it petty but I just hope he does something to show how dumb of a ruling it is (but probably won’t).
What the hell were the thieves doing with the tools? They had 15,000 of them, were they going to open a Home Depot? Was this a crew of a few dozen people? How were they making money of they had 15,000 tools in like 12 storage units? Even if this was some shady eBay marketplace operation they must have been having serious trouble finding buyers for these tools or something.
AA’s CEO is a Gen X. You have a lot of Gen X with that Greed is Good crap from the 80’s
I’m the same way. But since I’ve been having to handle my elderly relative’s estate I’ve had to write a ton of checks. The clerk of court requires the use of checks to pay bills for the estate. The estate account was issued a debit card but the bank said I couldn’t use it because of the same requirement.
Bluetooth with mobile devices I’d agree. But my work pc hates Bluetooth devices. Such as refusing to use the correct audio channel with headphones, so I still use wired headphones.
I’ve always felt Windows could be temperament with Bluetooth, especially pre Windows 7. Like XP seemed to be a shitshow for Bluetooth.
I’ve always just used uBlock on Chrome and I never see ads. I’m not doing anything other than that so it surprises me so many people have such trouble with ads.
It’s basically the Social Security plus Medicare combo like seniors in America get. It’s not great or perfect but even if that’s all you live on you can get by ok. The USA could just lower the ages. I know lowering the Medicare age comes and goes in the conversation about healthcare reform
I know it’s not uncommon for the chimney to go through the eaves for more support, if that’s an option for you. I know someone in Alaska with a tiny house that did something like that, with a wall mounted tiny stove and it was pretty impressive!
Have you looked at anything like this? They are extremely tiny wood stoves that are perfect for little spaces. https://cubicminiwoodstoves.com/
I admit I’ve not look into any numbers, if they are available, but I bet Amazon has an advantage of Prime customers that don’t have it primarily as a video streaming service. Those customers probably wouldn’t consider ads a big deal.
I know executives don’t tend to go for it but you could always get in a ESU for 3 years past the EoL date. That was semi popular with Windows 7.
