Why framework specifically? TSMC makes the chips for all AMD/Apple CPUs and all Nvidia/AMD/Intel/Apple GPUs.

Does it even matter? Just opening the door of a clean room is enough to make the whole thing useless. Also, even without opening the door, how does one even run an ASML device without their support even without remote shutdown? It’s not a $350M toaster. That doesn’t sound realistic.

Framework donates to nazis. When their community brought this up, they defended giving money to nazis.

          The full saga starts here.

I’ve donated money to lemmy instances before. If someone posts nazi shit on lemmy, do you consider me to be someone that financially supports Nazis?

Also the claim is that someone associated with a project has said some far right shit, not specifically a Nazi. I got a racist uncle, does that make me a Nazi to you?

They’ve done more than donate. They also rigged some stuff to benefit Hyperland developer specifically from something they didn’t qualify for as well or some such.

    Oh dear… I’m in Denmark too…

However, Valve has warehouses of Steam Decks here in Europe. When I bought mine 5 years ago it came from some East European country… I think it was Czech…

There’s a good chance that none of the Valve hardware comes from the US at all. I’m not really worried. I am worried about the price; RAM effects everything…

Jokes aside, selling shit is America’s bag. That is all America wants, is to sell stuff to everybody. And to buy people’s stuff cheaply. Sell and buy. It’s all America does, whether it’s goods, services, peoples lives. And whether people want to buy or sell those things, America demands it.
